Old Fezziwig stood out to dance...
WELCOME!
This blog captures all the Holiday mixes that I have been creating for family and friends since 2003. I thought I was on the verge of retirement, but then I discovered the wonders of blogging and box.net. Each mix can be downloaded either as a zip file or from a box.net folder (by individual song) by simply clicking on the highlighted text (in yellow). If you prefer, you can also just stream the songs from the individual players set up for each mix. For your convenience, I have labeled all mixes by which year they were created.
I usually take a "kitchen sink" approach to these mixes - everything is fair game (with added emphasis on indie music, R&B, and country). In many cases, the songs themselves are not holiday songs in the traditional sense, but to me a holiday song qualifies by an appropriate lyric or sound that evokes the spirit of the season. Enjoy!
